My Life

My name is Monica Hernandez. I'm from Mexico. I was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and I grew up there. There are eleven people in my family: my father, my mother, six brothers, two sisters, and me. When I was nineteen years old, I moved to San Jose and got married in October, 1990. My first son was born in November, 1991. At first, we lived in an apartment. In January, 1994, we moved to a house. My husband and I work hard every day. Now we have been married for 13 years. We have two sons and one daughter. Right now I am going to school to learn English. I want to speak and write English well, so I can communicate with other people in the U. S.
