Jennie Pham

My Life Story

I am Jennie Pham. I am from Vietnam. I speak Vietnamese and English. I got married 21 years ago. I have three children--one girl and two boys. My husband and I work at the same business. We are self-employed. When I lived in Vietnam, I had a small business. In 1985 my family left Vietnam because it is a communist country. I stayed in Indonesia for about 14 months. And then my family and I came to the United States, because it is a free country. I like to study English and I want to enjoy my life in the USA. There is freedom, safety and opportunity for my children. The people here are very friendly. I think everything is wonderful.
