My Family

I'm from Mexico. My hometown is Zacualpan, near Acapulco Beach. Acapulco is known for its beautiful resorts and nightlife and the wonderful beaches.

I have been married for 17 years. My husband's name is Francisco Ramirez. We have four children, two boys and two girls. My husband and I came to the US 16 years ago. He is a construction worker. I stay home and take care of the children.

All the other people in my family are still living in Mexico. I miss my family and my country.

I am studying ESL at Overfelt Adult school. My classmates are all very nice. My teacher is nice too. My life in the US is good because everybody has more opportunity and a better life.
