GED TEST PREPARATION

This class is designed to help students pass the General Education Development tests and acquire a GED diploma which is recognized by many employers, vocational schools, and colleges as the equivalent of a high school diploma. The GED is actually five separate tests:

Students will take a Predictor Test to identify their strengths and weaknesses and then follow an individualized course of study. The latest materials especially designed for the revised GED tests will be used. Students will then take Simulated Tests to see whether they are ready to take the actual GED test at theCounty Office of Education.

Elective units toward a high school diploma will be earned based on attendance hours and performance. Classes are open entry. You may enter anytime after you have taken a Placement Evaluation and seen a counselor. To enroll, call one of the numbers listed and ask for an appointment.


(NOTE: You must be at least 18 years old and not attending a regular day high school to take the GED test.)
