What is a "Program of Excellence"?
A Program of Excellence has the following characteristics:
- Demonstrates exemplary and replicative qualities
- Meets needs of the local community
- Integrates the three adult roles (worker, family member, community
- member) into a relevant, coherent curriculum
- Links learner goals to program accountability
- Incorporates curriculum and instruction that best meets the needs
of the
students
